I went to college with Taylor and I can say two things about him. He's a slobby pig and he is an artist. The slobby pig part is pretty self-explanatory--never let him cook spam and mac & cheese on your stove because it will sit there for at least 3 1/2 weeks. As for the artist part...He was a fantastic photographer and it seemed like all his pictures were endowed with some mystical quality of feeling. I have a self-portrait he took up in my living room and it never fails to make me smile. Well, first I smile because he's naked, but then I look away and try to think about my purpose in life. Because sometimes when I look at that picture, it's like Tay had found his. And even if it was just to make me smile, he filled it.
My favorite thing about Taylor was when he got really excited. He normally played it cool and was pretty low-key but sometimes, he would get super excited about some-thing, anything, some mundane thing like a girl sexy-dancing at a party or seeing some fat guy's butt crack as he unloaded his pickup truck, and he would kind of do a dance that was a mixture of the running man and the cabbage patch. That's when I loved him most.
