Taylor Finn Greeson was born on February 27, 1981 in Moore, OK. He is the son of Julie Ione Finn and Philip Dale Greeson.

He was graduated from Moore High School in Moore, OK in 1999 and went on to study Theater and Studio Art at Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH, where he earned a bachelor's degree with Highest Honors. He became an MFA candidate in the Film Directing Program at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA in 2004.

Taylor grew up between his mother's home in Billings, MT and his father's home in Moore, OK. He also lived in Oberlin, New York City, and near Los Angeles. He was an apostate member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He loved hairy armpits, animals, and all things Chekhovian.

He is survived by his mother, father, grandfather Donald Greeson, sister Amber Irene Turner, nephew Andrew C de Baca, boyfriend Seth Stewart, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by brother Charlie Turner, grandfather Terrence Finn, grandmothers Pat Greeson and Sally Finn, and beloved aunt Vicky Riggs.
